so i have been looking on and off for a few years for a watch. it wasn’t until the last few weeks that i have been really reading up on them and have become fascinated with self-winding automatics. i understand the pros and cons of quartz vs automatic but the aesthetics and snobbery of owning an automatic is more in line with my rationale. so i came across the victorinox airboss line and liked the styling and the incredible price of this (from what i understand to be) discontinued mach 5 model. i received it today and it was running when i took it out of the box which gave me some comfort. it has a nice weight to it and its not too big or too small, just right. the dual time zone gmt movement is very cool. the picture of the dial looks white but its actually silver and the inner bezel with the cities is white. i have yet to see how well it keeps time over the course of a week or a month. i set it precisely to the second on time.gov. i will update this review in a week or a month from now.
